Multiple-unit train control, sometimes abbreviated to multiple-unit or MU, is a method of simultaneously controlling all the traction equipment in a train from a single location, whether it is a Multiple unit comprising a number of self-powered passenger cars or a set of locomotives.
MU control utilizes pneumatic elements for brake control, and electric elements for throttle setting, dynamic braking and fault lights.
SEARAILS models a system of self-powered combine of freight and coach for Interurban and Suburban service. The system includes the front end car called the "Doodlebug" and the PULLMAN standard "Heavyweight" RPO/Coach, and the Pullman "Heavyweight" Day Coach are part of the lash-up of models.
Pantographs will be avialable to operate with the Rokuhan catenary system.
