SEARAILS is dedicated to the design and production of museum quality static, animated and automated models and displays for industries including marine services (container and break bulk freight), mining, construction, logging, smelting, refining, chemical processing, food services, and transportation equipment.
SEARAILS produces LIMITED EDITION products including small scale locomotive engines and railroad car models using its PowerMAX! 6.5mm and 9mm gauge motor chassis to power steam, diesel and specialty battery and gas/electric scale model locomotives with 2- and 4-axle specialty industrial cars.
Our railroad model market includes both standard and narrow guage scales including 1:87 (HOnf), 1:160 (N), and 1:220 (Z).
SEARAILS Marine products include 1:250, 1:150, 1:100 SCALE SHIP MODELS of Tankers, Break-Bulk, Container Carriers, Car Ferries, and Commodity Carriers, Harbor Tugs, and Service Vessels. Shore facilities include Marine Terminal Cranes which may be animated, Oil Docks, and Container Facilities.
PowerMAX! design studios are located in Sebastopol and San Francisco California. The SEARAILS product production facilities are in California, Washington, and Minnesota. Currently, SEARAILS supports a staff of six. The PowerMAX! motor, chassis, and DCC components are produced internationally.
